Your Mobile Home - 19th December - 23rd December

Britz Motorhome Explorer 4 berth
I will be arriving into Melbourne on the afternoon of the 19th December. I will then make my way to the office of Britz Rentals and collect your Mobile Home. As you know, I have organised to place it on a powered site at the Melbourne Airport Caravan Village. What I will do, is set it up for you so that all you have to do when you arrive into Melbourne is walk in and whallah! Make a cup of tea and when you're ready, climb into bed.

This day will be a long day as you don't arriving into Melbourne until after 11pm. This means that the next morning, as the van has cooking facilities you will be able to rise and have breakfast in your van before packing up to head onto the Great Ocean Road.

Supplies for the Great Ocean Road
I would suggest that at some stage you all sit down together and work out what sort of meals that you might like during the time on the Great Ocean Road. Remember that the van ahs a fridge and a stove and also a microwave so there are many options of menu available. Meat and fish in Australia are cheap but I would recommend that you only purchase a couple of meals of these items initially as even though the motor home has a fridge, it will be warm and they often don't cope with the heat that well. We can pick up some supplies on the way. If you can provide me with a list of items, I will organise to collect it all prior to your arrival so it's done and no time has to be spent the next day organising this. This will enable us to get on our way as soon as you are ready plus it will be a peak hour drive as we are departing Melbourne.

Sure is. Probably the best thing for this is to one day, sit down and write a menu out. It doesn't have to be too particular as when I shop for you, I will suggest some things that you have probably never tried. Like Barramundi. Search Barramundi in Google. It's one of the most sort after fish in oz and of course, the next one is Flake. (Shark) It's distinctively lovely.
The main two supermarkets in Oz are Woolworths and Coles. There are others but you will always find those two. It will probably be warm most of the time in the Brissy, Fraser Heron regions but the Great Ocean Road can change. I would think it will be mostly warm but a change is possible. They always say that Melbourne can host all seasons in one day. Even in summer. Fruit and cold like salads would be great.
